Inner Silence Room
Inner Silence Room
An entrancing experience, in a dark room with walls covered in soft, dark fabric and emotional music in the background. A round, soundproofed, enveloping environment, raised above the ground with a pilework system that reduces ground vibrations virtually to zero, guaranteeing even more complete sound insulation. The lighting, in shades of orange, is reduced to a minimum.
At the centre, guests can settle into one of the four red “Egg Chairs”, built in a shape that compels the user to snuggle into a foetal position. Thanks to the low lights and the silence, the room recreates the atmosphere of the womb, and takes the guest back to the nine months spent in utero; because a number of conflicts of the subconscious appear to derive from experiences in the womb, the sensory experience of the inner silence room is able to bring those far-off emotions back to the surface, thus allowing us to tune in to our most intimate selves, in a pause of pure regeneration.
