This treatment takes place in a room covered in white and light blue marble with a high temperature (40-50°) and 90% humidity. The room combines vapour and stratified temperatures: low at the level of the floor (20-25°C); 40°C around one and a half meter; 40-50°C at the height of the head.
After having been in the bath we suggest you take a cold (15°) or cool (30°) shower, which causes a thermal shock and cools down the body, in the adjacent room with cold showers and ice crash with cold vapour.
The Turkish bath stimulates perspiration: with sweat, through the pores of the skin, toxins are eliminated. This helps the activity of the excretory organs (such as kidneys and liver), and therefore the organism is purified. On the other hand the passage from hot to cold improves elasticity of the vessels and invigorates the tissues, skin and organism in general. Moreover it favours circulation and therefore oxygenation of the blood (blood carries oxygen and nourishing substances). Consequently the entire body receives nourishment and energy. Heat has a relaxing effect on muscles: the muscles and tissue receive more blood, oxygen and precious elements (which thanks to vasodilatation flow more easily), which keep them in good state.
The Turkish bath is contraindicated for people with inflammatory dermatitis in progress, which deteriorates under the effect of humidity, or with contagious diseases, such as warts or furunculosis; also contraindicated for pressure or cardiac problems.
