This is where the Acqua Santa spring is, dripping its water from above into a monumental basin. Guests of Terme Sensoriali thus have the opportunity to “taste” the Acqua Santa water which springs in the homonymous park at 33°C, in the dispensing room a few metres from the Terme sensoriali.
It is a thermal mineral water, classified as bicarbonate sulphur calcium. Mineral water treatment is detoxifying, purifying, stimulates the body and helps eliminate the effects of long-term pharmacological treatments, such as oral contraceptives. To be drunk in the morning on an empty stomach for a period of at least 12 days, in agreement with the NHS, following the doctor’s prescription; it is indicated for ailments of the liver and of the bilious tract, such as gastroenteral and biliary dyspepsia, biliary calculosis, after surgical operations on the bilious tract. Mineral water treatment improves liver and bile functions, digestion, the assimilation of food fats and the elimination of noxious substances.
The treatment should be started at home with a preliminary cycle of 15 days and continued after the stay at the Spa for another 15 days, integrating it after 6 months with a cycle of at least thirty days at home.
Acqua Santa can be heated up and taken in the morning; it can also be found, together with Acqua Fucoli and Acqua Attiva, in large retail stores and pharmacies. .
